Problem in external power to MSP430G2552 IC on bread board

Hello Champs !

I am beginner with MSP430G2 evaluation kit, I am using MSP430G2553 IC on breadboard for my PCB designing. External power i.e 3.6V at Vcc causes problem while at the same time when i give supply from launchpad it goes work for me. Although i am following MSP430G2 user guide's circuitry attached in image. Need suggestions. I am Using Energia software.
