Hi all,
I have been experiencing a lot of heat problems (similar to other users in other posts). I tried all the suggested solutions - isolating C125 and wearing anti-ESD wrist straps. The board still gets very hot.
I made a 3.3V Linear reg thinking the issue was on the debugger side of the board. But I was wrong... The MCU side of the board draws a large amount of current on the 3.3V rail. 181mA.
Proof:
(Measuring the 3.3V bridge directly)
Voltage drop across a 2.2ohm resistor: (0.328/2.2=149mA)
Is it possible for Ti to send out replacement boards of the newest revision? These boards get dangerously hot and also start failing after 3-4 minutes.
Regards
