MSP430F5342: Compatibility of MSP430F5342 with LMK04808

Hi Team,

We are using the parts MSP430F5342IRGZR and LMK04808BISQE/NOPB from TI in our new design. And we need to configure the LMK clock using MSP430 via the SPI interfaces available in both the devices.

As per our understanding, the SPI in LMK clock is having only a 3 wire SPI (CS, CLK & MOSI). The SPI in MSP430 is 4 wire SPI (CS, CLK, MOSI & MISO).

Will it be ok, if we connect only the 3 pins of SPI (CS, CLK & MOSI) between MSP430 and the LMK clock device?

Does MSP430 can support 3 wire SPI? 

Also planning to connect the MISO pin of MSP430 to GND via a 50 Ohm resistor to avoid EMI issues.
