Part Number:EZ430-RF2500-SEH

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello mates,

I've been trying to work with the development kit eZ430-RF2500-SEH the last couple months. Now I'm having a trouble as I try to use the demo Temperature Sensor Monitor application.

I followed all the steps regarding the firmware installation provided by TI as bellow:

Steps to setup the 'SEH Sensor Monitor' sample application in CCS.
1) |- Run the Sensor Monitor setup program (SEH-firmware-install-v2.0 in SLAC219)
2) |- Open CCS v5.4
3) |- Open a workspace and import project from installed location (.../eZ430-RF2500-SEH_Sensor_Monitor-v2.0/CCS_Source)
4) Connect hardware
|- Connect one of the eZ430-RF2500T target boards to the eZ430 Emulator and plug the emulator
into a USB port on your computer.

Compile and Run your code
1) |- Right-click the project name, "SEH Sensor Monitor" in the "Project Explorer" panel and select
"Build Configurations > Set Active > End Device - Debug"
2) |- Select "Project > Clean..."
3) |- Select "Run > Debug"
4) |- Click on the Terminate button (red square in the top left 'Debug' view) to Terminate the debugging session
|- At the top right corner of the screen, click on "CCS Edit" button to return to the CCS Edit perspective.
You may have to click on the >> arrows if the button has moved off-screen.
5) |- Remove the eZ430-RF2500T target board from the emulator.
6) |- Connect the second eZ430-RF2500T target board to the eZ430 Emulator and plug the emulator
7) |- Right-click the project name in the "Project Explorer" panel and select
"Build Configurations > Set Active > Access Point - Debug"
8) |- Select "Project > Clean..."
9) |- Select "Run > Debug"
10)|- Click on the green "Run" arrow button.
11)|- Connect the first eZ430-RF2500T (End Device) target board to the battery pack or the Solar Energy Harvesting board.
12)|- Open the eZ430-RF2500 Sensor Monitor PC program (installed by SLAC219) to watch the network form.

But it seems that the target board isn't responding even when I plug the emulator (with the target board) in the USB port (as the led should have blinked). As I followed the steps 6 and foward, the board doesn't seems to be responding either, and on the final step the Sensor Monitor software doesn't even recognize the Access point node.

It was working before, but it stopped when my research collegue modified the code to try reading some registers value. And I'm trying to reset it and use the demo code.

Can anybode help me?

Does it seems to be a problem with the target boards, my PC, or the software?
