Hello,
I tried to unlock the PMM registers in my code by writing 0xa500 to the PMMCTLO register using the macro definitions already provided in CCS. I was trying to create a reference voltage for the eCOMP module using the internal DAC. However, as I observed in the register window on CCS, the PMMCTLO register never changed to 0xa500 after executing the instruction. It always reads as the default 0x9640. The result was that the eCOMP output always remains in one state regardless of what the voltage is in the other input (which I provide externally). I am concluding that maybe the reference voltage was never created as I was unable to unlock the PMM registers. I may add that I even tried an example from Resource Explorer. But it is still not working. Please help me regarding this matter.
