MSP430F5529: NeoGPS 6m not working -IICDC 2017

Part Number:MSP430F5529

I am using the MSP430F5529 microcontroller for my project. I need to interface the NEO 6m GPS module with it. I m using the Energia IDE to code the controller. When I run this below code the software serial does not returning any value. Can anyone helps me to figure it out. Please!!!!
