Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi Everyone,

I know that serial communication is very much often. But what about parallel communication.

I want to send and 16 Bit data parallel through 16 port pins at the same time

so is it possible to send and read 16 bit data through 16 port pins?

can anyone help me to find the answer of this question?

Hi All,

Customers are going to coat the MSP430 with resin as an alternative to a shielded case when using wireless. Is there a recommended coating agent?

I have told that there are no recommended items, but if there is information such as materials and materials, please let me know.

Tool/software:TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hi,

I'm currently working with the MSP430FR2355 Smart Analog Combo.

Are there SPICE-Models for the OpAmp, preferably in PSPICE/LtSPICE format?

I only found models for the FR2310, but its OpAmp has different characteristics according to the datasheet, notably a higher GBW. And they are only for TINA-TI.

Best regards

Markus

Hello guys.

I've been trying to debug my evm430 board, and I've got some issues here. I downloaded the code:

USS-02_20_00_16-windows-installer.exe

available on "http://software-dl.ti.com/msp430/msp430_public_sw/mcu/msp430/USSSWLib/USSSWLibWater/02_20_00_16/index_FDS.html", and started a debug section on CCS 8.1.0. The problem is, when I hit the pause button, a message is shown:

And:

I don't know what can I do. The leds from the board are not blanking. In resume, nothing happens on the board. The code is below. Thank you guys for your help.

CCS/MSP430FR5994: How to read FRAM values without entering CCS debug mode

Part Number:MSP430FR5994

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

I want to read the value of some variables saved in FRAM after the MCU finishes its task. When the MCU is doing the task, it is powered by an external capacitor. After the task is finished, I want to check the result which is saved in FRAM.

I only know that we can see FRAM values in CCS debug mode by using the "Memory Brower". But entering the debug mode, CCS will re-program the MCU so that all previous data will be erased.

Is there any possible solution for my case?

Thanks,

Yubo

MSP430F5326: voltage drop at the instant of power-on is very large, MSP430F5326 is very hot

Part Number:MSP430F5326

Hi

Please Help solve the problem. Thanks a lot.

1. The hardware connection is: battery power supply (3.3v) - > button switch (0.5 internal resistance) - > MSP430F5326.

2. The following figure is the voltage change of OBU when it is powered on. After 5326 is powered on, there is a certain proportion of current that lasts 200 mA, but it does not crash and can work and sleep normally. Even if it is hard reset, the current of 200 mA will continue. At the same time, 5326 is very hot. Later, it is found that the voltage drop at the instant of power-on is very large, and it is suspected that the large voltage drop caused 5326 abnormality.

3. Functionally, it has been found that AD is abnormal. It was originally used to measure voltage by AD. If 200 mA occurs, hard reset can not be restored.

4. The impedance of the power supply circuit is only 0.5, which has been confirmed.

Hi,

I have recently set up and connected the msp gang. And having issues with it connecting via error #23.

Our prog. file is hex.

No external power source.

I have done the following from reading up on other forums, is it worth investigating more or returning back for a replacement?

1) Various voltage/reset/JTAG speed adjustments.

2) connected the cap and resistor across the Vcc and RST.

3) Shortened cable length.

Please advise.

GAS flow measurements are performed on a  pipe with 200-kHz, 400-kHz, and 500-kHz transducers available from Jiakang, Hurricane, CeramTec, and Audiowell.

How do different frequencies affect measurements?Which frequency has the best accuracy theoretically?

And where to download the 3D printable pipe design?

Hello Sir/Mam,

I am trying to program MSP430I2041 with isolator ISO1540DR for SBWTCK and SBWTDIO lines. Launchpad ,I am using for programming is MSPEXP430F5529LP.

Without Isolation, I am able to program MSP430I2041 through CCS.     But i am not able to program it through CCS with isolation.

For reference , Schematic snippet is attached here (Please note that ,actual IC used is ISO1540DR and not ISO1541DR  as shown in schematic) along with CCS programming error message.

CCS  Error Comes Like this ...

Please let me know if anything wrong in schematic, that is affecting MSP430I2041  programming.

Thanks and Regards,

Fakruddin Mulla

MSP430F5438: Using BSL Scripter with MSP430F5438 UART

$

Part Number:MSP430F5438

Hello,

I am currently trying to figure out how to make my scripter work with my MSP430F5438.  I have an FTDI cable to my PC via USB and have its RX and TX lines going to P1.1 and P1.2 which are respectively the BSL's default UART pins as well as the ground from the FTDI wire hooked up to the ground of the MSP430F5438 (For reference, I am using the msp5438STK by Olimex).

Here is a look at my script:

bsl_script_1.txt

MODE 543x_family UART 9600 COM26
CHANGE_BAUD_RATE 9600
RX_PASSWORD bsl_pass.txt
MASS_ERASE
TX_BSL_VERSION
REBOOT_RESET

as well as my  bsl_pass.txt

@FFF0
FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF
q

using my script, i get the following message:

Port 26 is the port of my FTDI cable.

Please let me know if there is a way to fix this.

I currently also have the MSP-FET, however I cannot seem to get that to work at all.  I would receive the same message on that one as well.  Based on previous forum posts, I cannot find my MSPApplication UART from device manager and can only see MSP-FET430UIF - CDC (COM25)

Thank you for taking your time in reading this post.

Hi. I am using a packet sniffer program using the TI CC2531 product.

However, during use, the next toolbar disappears and seven menus, including the capture device, are not available.
Is there a way to reset the toolbar to view?
Below is the current view at run time.
