My customer is designing water meter using MSP430FR6877. MSP-GANG is used to program the MCU. They have tried JTAG and BSL downloading. The content of 0xFF90 was different comparing 2 downloading methods. When using BSL, the content of 0xFF90 is 0xFFFF, while using JTAG, the content is 0x5555. This address is reserved by interrupt vectors. I checked the datasheet, and didn't find any information.
Customer wants to know where the difference comes from? Is there any potential risks?
