Suggestion to shorten CC430 shut down time after power cut off

Hi Sir,

My customer using CC430 to design for data transmission.

CC430 is powered by battery and the battery is connected to the circuit via a mechanical switch.

In customer program, the CC430 will stay in sleeping mode most of the time and consuming 0.4uA.

If customer turn the mechanical switch off during the sleeping mode, they face with a situation where the CC430 only turn off after 2-3 mins.

There is a 10uF decoupling cap at the power supply rail, and the energy stored inside the decoupling cap just after disconnecting the battery is sufficient to sustain the CC430 to continue stay in sleeping mode for 2-3 mins since it consumes 0.4uA only.

As a result, CC430 can't be powered on immediately in active mode once re-connect the battery, need to wait for 2-3 mins.

Do you have any suggestion to solve the problem?

Thanks.
